My process for my journal pages is as varied as the weather from day to day. I do tend to paint pages ahead, let them dry, and begin work on them according to what colour I gravitate toward. I also work in two journals—one more art driven, the other personal, more text based. I am constantly pasting down ticket stubs, letters received, cool postcards, etc... and going back to write and draw around them. I especially love spending a weekend afternoon in a café just sketching, writing and capturing the mood. I feel like weekdays are more rushed and reflect what I have time to contribute. Also, I am forever scanning new magazines, websites, and books for inspiration.
